We're used to seeing hair artist and miracle worker Guy Tang create mind-bending melts and larger-than-life color, but today's video is something a little different. In the tutorial below, he shows off the subtler side of his skill set as he gives his bleach-phobic model, Paige, stunning highlights and lowlights.

To create a more cohesive look, he employs a variety of techniques to add dimension to Paige's hair. His primary concern is blending her different colors together while keeping it natural-looking. Tang employs the traditional back-combing ombré technique in the back sections of the hair, but sprinkles highlights and lowlights through the top layers with a micro-weaving techniques (think teeny tiny babylights).
